Live Fit: Phase 1 Day 18

Today's plan! 

I'm going to the gym, my usual gym, and am excited to get this workout under my belt! I also have a coffee date with a fellow law student that is researching human trafficking with me for the project that I'm doing for a professor. I get to hand off some of the research (though there are a few things I'll still be finishing up!) 




Foodie Pen Pal Reveal Day! :)

Today I get to talk about how thankful I am for my foodie pen pal! Gina at Health Love, and Chocolate! She sent me an amazing box with delicious goodies that I couldn't wait to eat!

Organic Fruit Snacks! These were delicious!

They make dark chocolate calcium? BEST THING EVER1!!

I've saved these for my drive home on Spring Break!

I have been DYING To try these! I was not a big fan of the Chocolate Brownie one but the Cinnamon Raisin one was a WINNER!

Wine and Chocolate? YES PLEASE!

What I Ate Wednesday

So this is a little bit of what I've been eating. Because I'm on the Jamie Eason's Live Fit Plan I've been eating a lot and a lot of its been repetitive so this is should give you the general idea!

Meatloaf with Brown Rice and Green Beans- I also had a salad on the side!

Banana Protein Muffins

Turkey Muffins, Sweet Potatoes and Fresh Green Beans

Grilled Chicken, Rice Cakes and steamed veggies!

Mexican Salad- with salsa and turkey muffins and some cheddar. SOOOO YUMMY!

Typical breakfast. Ezekial Bread Egg whites and a small banana!

I'm loving these protein bars! They taste like a candy bar! AND they have fiber!

There you have it! A little taste! Lots of yummy protein, healthy starches and veggies! :)

Again today I just had NO desire to wake up and go to the gym so I slept in and plan on going after I get done babysitting. :) I hated how busy it was last week at that time around 5 but I'll live!

Live Fit: Phase 1 Day 16

So today I'm feeling super sluggish. I woke up and only did about half an hour of yoga, I plan on doing the other half of the video after dinner. After my leg workout yesterday my thighs and legs are SORE. :) I guess that means I worked them out well!!

Live Fit: Phase 1 Day 15

This morning I decided to sleep in and do my workout after I get off work. Usually I just like to go and get it out of the way, but after a long day in Memphis on Sunday dealing with my computer and also getting a great deal on some Kate Spade sunglasses (picture below) I just wanted to sleep in (and by that I mean 6 ha).

Whatta You Do?

When you wake up at 3:00 a.m. and aren't able to get back to sleep?

Wanna know what I do?

I play around on my iPhone for a good 45 minutes.

Then I get up and make some random protein banana muffins. With no recipe (I tend to be a recipe follower) Don't know how they taste but they smell AMAZING!

So then do I go back to bed? Nope I'm wired.

I eat breakfast.

Then decide to get the gym out of the way.

By now its almost 5.

I head to the gym.

Hi people!
And no I wasn't the only one there!

SO then am I ready to go home?

Nope. I head to Walmart to pick up some salad dressing. Kroger didn't have a lot to choose from when I went shopping on Friday...

But wait I'm hungry and forgot to grab a smoothie or protein bar.

I'll just buy one at Walmart. 


It was pretty good. I liked it but I probably wouldn't buy a whole case of them. I liked that it was fruity, most protein bars I've seen are chocolate based. 

I grabbed some VitaminWater and some random groceries and finally left. 

So now at 7:40 I'm finally ready for a nap.

This morning I had planned on getting up at my normal hour and doing yoga, but when I woke up I just knew I needed one more hour of rest, so yoga after I get off work today! :)

Live Fit: Phase 1 Day 11

Today is the 11th day of the program! Its hard to believe week two is almost done! Only a zillion more to go haha. :) Just kidding!



I plan on heading to do the workout after my last class of the day! Hopefully things will go well!

Live Fit: Phase 1 Day 10

Today is day 10 on the program and I woke up feeling groggier then usual. I'm so ready for spring time, its SLIGHTLY easier to pull yourself out of bed when its warm outside. BUT I made myself get up and go to the gym. So today was already a success!

Live Fit: Phase 1 Day 8

Today's workout and meal plan! Thanks to all the prepping yesterday its all pretty easy! Today the nanny-kid and I have Kindermusik and hopefully I will find a place that can sew a new zipper into my dress for this weekend! I was zipping it up to hang it up and it broke. Sadness!

Live Fit: Phase 1 Day 7

Today has been a busy day!

Last night I was the DD for my fabulous friends and we all had a great time at the masquerade ball! Everyone looked lovely and we even got to eat yummy southern food at one of my favorite restaurants in town! Yummy cheat meal! :)


I was up late and so I slept in till almost 9:30. It felt great! I got up ran to the gym and completed Day 7!


I have to say this was a tough one! :) I tried to use 8 lb weights after using 5 and I was only able to do 1 set before going back! But hey, 1 set is better then none! Its crazy to me seeing those huge guys lift 50 lb weights like they're nothing! 

Meals today were kinda all over the place since I slept in so late I ended up eating at 5:30 then 6:30. 


Today was another meal prep day: grilled chicken breast, brown rice, turkey muffins, cinnamon swirl protein muffins, cut and chopped veggies, salad, and cleaning. Lots of cleaning but I'm still not done! I need to vacuum my bedroom. Oh the joys of having a long haired dog! Haha!

I also got some work done on my paper and I looked up a ton of law journals to send the article to! Hopefully one of them will publish me!
